I suggest obtaining a second modem, either internal if there is slot space or an external one connected to a spare com port. A cheaper 9600 or 14400bps type is all that is necessary for faxing. The phone lines can be connected to both together using a double adapter. This way WinFax can stay open while the other modem is free to be used for internet mail or browsing. Barry Patterson
