Checked errant disc for cleanliness, found very small ?grease spot on outer edge of shiny side of disc. Removed using gentle breath & wiping with a very soft tissue from centre out. Tried disc & all systems go. With vinyl records the method of running the tissue round the edge is a no no for CD?s, you do wipe from centre out as a scratch running round with the data stream results in the laser beam servo system losing its track.
